Guideline

The 5th Food Safety and Zoonoses Symposium for Asia Pacific

The symposium provides opportunity for expert, governments, privates, academic scientists, graduate and doctoral-level students to update and exchange knowledge regarding to the following research themes:

​

  • Emerging and Re-emerging Diseases  

  • Antimicrobial Resistance

  • Application of Risk Analysis 

  • Epidemiological Tools and Application 

  • Food Safety and Hygiene

​

In this symposium, candidates can select the format of presentation (oral OR poster) and the content that will be published (abstract only OR full paper). The symposium also provides an international proceedings for all presenters who are selected to present.

Timeline of abstract and full paper submission:

​

  • 22 January 2018          Call for abstract

  • 30 April 2018              Deadline of abstract submission

  • 7 May 2018                  Notification of acceptance

  • 31 May 2018                Deadline of full paper submission

  • 8 June 2018                  Suggestion of full paper correction

  • 15 June 2018                Final draft submission of full paper

Poster presentation guideline

​

  • The submitted poster will be assigned in standard board (100 x 200 cm) which is presented in a vertical position. The actual usage area of the poster display board should be 90 cm x 120 cm, leaving the lower area of the board approximately 50-80 cm from the floor.

​

  • The poster should be readable from at least 1 meter away.

​​

  • The poster should be self-explanatory, clear and specific, and presents the material logically and legible.

​​

  • Paper title should be on the topmost, followed by author(s) and affiliation(S) with following subheadings: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion Results and Discussion, References and Acknowledgements.

​​

  • Lettering for illustration, chart, graph and photograph should be large and easy to read.

​​

  • The assigned reference code number of each poster will be marked on the board for setting up your poster.

 

            The poster session is as interesting as oral presentation, as more details can be discussed in a longer period of time.

Poster should be composed of;

  1. Title & Authors

  2. Short introduction of the study

  3. Objective(s)

  4. Materials and methods

  5. Results and Discussion

  6. References

  7. Figure & Table (if any)
