The Veterinary Public Health Education workshop was collaborated by OIE Collaborating Center for Veterinary Services Capacity Building and Excellent Center for Veterinary Public Health (ECVPH) to gather all professionals and experts in Veterinary Public Health in the first time in South East Asia region to build up a potential networking and develop education including research in veterinary public health area.

In this event, there were the VPH lecturers from 15 universities in 7 countries in SEA attended;

     • Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia
     • Chiang Mai University, Thailand
     • Chulalongkorn University, Thailand
     • Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia
     • Kasetsart University, Thailand
     • Khon Kaen University, Thailand
     • Mahanakorn University of Technology, Thailand
     • Mahidol University, Thailand

     • National University of Lao, Lao PDR
     • Nong Lam University, Vietnam
     • Prince of Songkla University, Thailand
     • Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia
     • Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia
     • University of Veterinary Science, Yezin, Myanmar
     • Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Vietnam

The workshop contents were included;

     • VPH curriculum mapping

     • Brainstorming of VPH capalities in SEA

     • Identifying gap(s) and strength(s) of each university

     • Available resources and possibilities for international activity and credit transfer among ASEAN University Network

       (AUN) - keynote presentation

     • Brainstorming of activities to work together in the nearly future

     • Research collaboration
